Student · Founder, Orbit
Student, founder of Orbit, and third-generation member of a family that's run schools in Rajasthan since 1979. I'm building toward education measured by what students can do, not just what they can recall.
About Me
I'm Arnav Kothari, from Banswara, Rajasthan — Class 12 (CBSE), graduating 2027.
I grew up inside a classroom. My grandfather founded the New Look Group of Institutions in 1979, and today it runs six school and college branches across Rajasthan and Gujarat. Watching a family business educate thousands taught me early that running a school and improving learning are two different problems. I got interested in the second one.
That turned into work. I founded Orbit, a student-led mentorship and career-awareness organization built on a pay-it-forward model — paid mentorship is designed to fund free guidance for students who can't afford it. I've interned at a real-estate startup and an agri-tech startup, I'm helping build a sustainable farming venture, and I'm designing a skills-based learning model for schools.
My Missions
Quality mentorship and career awareness for students in towns like mine, not just metros.
Learning measured by what students can do: communicate, think, build.
Ideas with evidence behind them, not just hype.

Impact Projects
Built on one rule: those who can pay for mentorship help fund those who can't.
A student-led mentorship and career-awareness organization. Paid 1-on-1 counseling funds free guidance for students who can't afford it. Online counseling + in-person sessions, reaching urban and rural students. "A student's access to knowledge should never be determined by their postcode."
A career-guidance ecosystem for students, parents, and educators. Ran an interactive career-exploration workshop for 100+ students (Classes 9–10) — self-reflection, a card-based career-values game, real-world career mapping, and a live talk from a teen startup founder. Co-ran cross-border counseling with a peer in Singapore reaching 150+ rural students on non-traditional careers. Also launched a teacher–student podcast and a life-skills video.
Short episodes spotlighting hidden, high-potential careers students never hear about — Ep 01: UX Researcher, Ep 02: Actuary. Plus a podcast episode, "Everyone is intelligent!"
Ventures
A sustainable farming venture honoring my grandmother's dream — traditional agricultural values blended with modern innovation, inspired by my agri-tech internship at Gau. My role is marketing and sales.
A gamified, activity-based skills program for schools, grounded in Howard Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences and built around life-sustaining skills — communication, public speaking, leadership, entrepreneurship — delivered through weekly classes, workshops, and events rather than theory lessons. Currently at the design and research stage: building the curriculum and revenue model and evaluating a pilot inside one New Look branch.
Internships
Worked directly with the founding team and CEO, sitting in on strategy discussions with a Gen-Z, user-first lens. Analyzed 15+ real-estate startups across SEO, funnels, and positioning; helped shape investor and customer pitch decks; and contributed to a six-figure client win through competitor and pain-point analysis. Strong enough to earn a paid call-back engagement in Goa.
Interned across departments from marketing to dairy operations, working closely with founder Amanpreet Singh. Hands-on with hydroponics, livestock management, and supply chains — the experience that directly inspired Kesari Farms.
Writing & Research
Exploring déjà rêvé, precognitive dreams, and quantum consciousness.
